Dear Friends, Family, and Beloved Readers,
I have some exciting news to relate!
I recently won Second Prize in the Baruch COVID Diaries Essay Writing Contest 2021.
Additionally, I am on the long-list for the 2021 erbacce-prize, an international competition that had over 13,000 people who submitted. Of those, just over 100 were chosen to be on the long-list, myself amongst them.
I am honored and humbled to have been recognized for my writing in these ways.
Thank you all for believing in me, whether you are just joining me or if you’ve been here since the start.
Expect another update in mid-May, as my award-winning play, “For the Wicked,” is going to featured on Baruch’s Creative Inquiry Day, along with a class project on the African Burial Grounds in NYC and how we can use various artistic and archeological tools to recover the voices of the oppressed.
