Update From The Author: June 2024

Dear Friends, Family, Fellow Authors, and Cherished Readers,

I am pleased to announce that my poem, “To Build a Home,” was recently published by Zoetic Press, in Issue #36 of the Non-Binary Review, the theme of which is ‘Heredity.’

First and foremost, I have to thank my beautiful, wonderful mother, who was the inspiration for this poem. She is a muse in more ways than one – someone I look up, to someone I admire and love and cherish dearly. I am proud that the poem that my family has taken to calling ‘her poem’ was published, and I am thankful to the editors at Zoetic Press for believing in my work.

The poem was written at a writing retreat in New Jersey – specifically the Murphy Writing Winter Poetry & Prose Getaway, which you might remember me writing about in January’s Update From The Author.
