Update From the Author: September 2024

Dear Friends, Family, Fellow Authors, and Cherished Readers,

It is with great pleasure that I write to you today. As some of you may know, I will be appearing in the 42 Stories Anthology, as a ‘Craft of Writer’ chapter author as well as a guest judge of the ‘Outer Space’ chapter. Please consider subscribing to updates about the anthology here. It is slated to be released in November 2024.

I had the incredible opportunity to be interviewed for this project, so be sure to check out ‘42 Stories Anthology Presents: Interview with Caitlin Cacciatore‘ to learn more about me, my writing process, and my circle of writerly friends and mentors. My love of and passion for Star Trek is also mentioned because on a pie chart of my personality, Starfleet values occupy about 15 percent, and an additional 15 percent is comprised of useful Trek trivia, like which Star Trek characters appeared on at least one episode of each TNG, DS9, and Voyager – acceptable answers include ‘Q’ and ‘Quark,’ in case you were wondering.

I am also pleased to announce that my photography has been recognized and published by Sunlight Press. One of the photos, ‘Beach at Dawn #3,’ was even short-listed for their 2024 photography contest. It is always a pleasure to work with Sunlight Press – in which I also have two poems pending publication, as well as one prior publication with their press.

I am humbled and honored that my work is being shared with so many and amplified on these platforms. Thank you to everyone who has believed in my work, both recently and in all the years prior.
